Defence Consulting Europe are currently developing surface/subsurface vehicles for transportation and recreation as well as ship hull and harbour bottom inspections. the SEAL SDV and the Torpedo SEAL are two “members” of DCE’s planned family of SDVs called the SEAL Pod. Other “members” of the SEAL Pod will be the SEAL HI (Harbour Inspection) and the SUB SEAL.

DCE participates at MAST annual exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden between 21–23 October 2009. The SEAL Carrier concept with the basic conceptual ideas will be presented together with SAAB Underwater Systems.

Saab Underwater Systems AB (SUS) and Defence Consulting Europe AB (DCE) have signed a teaming agreement with the objective to develop a concept for delivery of Double Eagle SAROV hybrid AUV/ROV using the SEAL SDV as a delivery vehicle.
